£34m sounds acceptable tbh - Bayern paid twice as much two years ago which tells you how far he's fallen off.

He's also been a bit prone to injury, hardly a great recipe for joining United. Especially from Bayern who have a top class ability to offload duds to us.

If we can flog Maguire for similar it's a like for like & makes sense. Could do with another, young ball playing, CB to join also.
