I'm not (and never did) buy into this 'Nani is £#%&!ing brainless' rubbish.He's an absolute diamond of a player and we'd be totally £#%&!ed without the lad.He's at a stage that Ronaldo went through - he might not choose the right option all of the time but he can win you a game out of nothing.

If ever we're in the shit and struggling, chances are that he'll produce a bit of magic or class.A really important member of our first team now, and he'll only get better and better.Credit to him that he's stuck it out and has become a better player.We'd be a vastly poorer side without him.

huge improvement since the penny dropping moment of last season. really beefed up as well, hard to knock off the ball now when he isn't diving. developed into a tremendous player after a tricky first couple of years at united, which is a credit to his attitude. great example for the likes of obertan as well.

I do buy into the 'brainless' thing though. He can be infuriating. Yesterday, there were countless times we broke, mainly due to his pace and ability to go past people, but then he ignored the right ball. I get the impression Berbs and him have a proper beef as Berbatov pulled off his marker at least 3 times in the first 45 and was in acres but Nani decided to do a Kanchelskis and run across their back four and take him out of the game.

He's almost unrecognisable from the player he was last season though and I think with time he will get a better understanding of the game and then his decision making will improve.

He's the main main and he's relishing it. Very selfish sometimes on the ball but gets results. Rather him than some scouser running around fouling people and moaning his hole off about his shit team mates tbh.
