That wasn't the poll though, as its not been reported that INEOS are considering Ancelotti.

By all respected accounts, there are two men in the frame, and those two men are in the poll.

FWIW, I suspect that if England have a good tournament in the summer, Gareth will be incoming.

I thought the word "if" served some purpose in my previous post. apparently, not.

Ten Hag if those two are the only options.

The thing about Southgate though, is he would probably resign De Gea, park the bus and play Ole style counter attacking football...

Until the club can slowly fire players out the door.

Would be dreadful if that was true, surely INEOS can see outside of British managers

I'm just searching for the logical reason why they'd bring him in.

It's almost as if his name is out there to spook the fanbase, so if they hire a Potter or De Zerbi, the fans are relieved it's not Southgate.

Clearly want neither but would take Potter over Southgate every single time

I'd take Kenny Dalglish over Southgate.

Barry Bennell as well.

This is a list of people I’d genuinely rather have than Gareth Southgate:

Erik Ten Hag
Roberto De Zerbi
Graham Potter
Michael Carrick
Kieran McKenna
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Jose Mourinho
Louis Van Gaal
David Moyes

I would love to see that! INEOS go f#@! it and hit the nuclear button.

"I kill a Rashford!" "He don't a runa" "I kill him!"

Sancho wouldn't last an hour let alone a day.

Yes.

In fact, I can’t think of a single name we’ve been linked with over the last few years who I want less. Absolutely everything about him is unappealing: his football is awful, he has no charisma, no track record and his mouth is disgusting

I'm not certain people are paying attention - ineos won't hire someone with character and strong personality. They are looking for the beige corporate yes man to always accept the set style and transfer policy set from above.

The thought of Southgate makes my balls ache, immediately followed by 'how much worse could it be?' Apart from having to look at that £#%&!ing waistcoat of course.

Both of those @#%&!s can get to £#%&!.

I'd happily take Mark Robins before either of them.

If the thought of Gareth is giving you blue balls just knock one out and get it over with mate. Got a waistcoat kink or what?

I'm not sure that's the case, they'll hopefuly want someone who'll win, ergo they look better? Shirley?
