Germany have been largely total shit for a while now, however the emergence of their younger talent into 21+ year olds rather than teenagers means they'll have experience & start to gel.
Some extraordinarily talented players like Musiala & Wirtz alongside the old heads of Kroos, Kimmich & Neuer etc. Home advantage, 2006 was a long time ago but it was a great tournament for the Germans & they found their voices to support the national side again. Was in Berlin (to watch the final ) & the 3rd place play off they won & the streets were rammed with flags & people on the piss, it was absolutely brilliant. Hope they have a big tournament & fall short in the semis against someone other than England. Germany to get into their stride early as Scotland are basically shite, comfortable 2-0 win. |
