United are on 60 points with 21 to play for, and need 14/21 points to reach 74.

Liverpool are on 66 points with 15 to play for, and need 8/15 points to reach 74 - and have a better GD (+29 vs +24).

So basically, to get 4th, United need to drop a maximum of 7 points away against City, Saints, Burnley, Arsenal, and Spurs (and beat two relegation battlers at home)... AND hope that Liverpool drop at least 7 points in 5 very winnable fixtures.... while also overturning the GD.
