Madrid have been absolutely £#%&!ing dreadful over the two legs tbh. I can see why that barcelona side have run away with the league.

37 year old stands there watching while midfielder with the best engine in the league nods home into an empty goal from 8 yards. Typifies this mistake by Ancelloti.

I’m very grateful to Madrid for knocking them out last year and stopping Liverpool in two finals, but they were never stopping City this time.

As others have said: make peace with it now. They’re winning the league, the European cup and we have to hope as United fans we can pull out something special in the cup final.

At least the stadium doesn’t look like it’s about to collapse? 👀

Terrible this from Madrid.

Treble is on then. At least there should be an asterisk next to it soon.

Yeah right.

Holding out hope that Madrid get a magic 10 minutes. That’s all they need. They’ve done it so many times. Let it happen again.

Madrid are done. There's no danger of them even worrying City. Awful to see. £#%&!ing City.

I was holding out the ‘it’s still only 1-0’ until just before half time.

They were excellent and very lucky last year. They’ve been neither this year.

Inter will at least pack the midfield and make it tight. Madrid playing a 37 year old Modric in some form of luxury attacking role away at City with Rodri/Gundogan/Bernardo pouncing on him or just playing around him at every turn with Kroos the last man behind is absolutely farcical. It'd have been like us playing Scholes behind Ronaldo in Rome.

Liverpool blitzed Madrid exactly the same way but unlike that Liverpool team City have actually got some legs in the midfield to keep the pace up.

Maybe at the Bernabeu but not tonight
Probably more likely to suffer a record defeat as the mutant hasn’t even scored yet and you know he’s getting one at least

We can’t admonish Madrid here as they were always going to be overmatched against city tonight
They worked wonders last season

Look on the bright side, at least we didn’t get to see a Liverpool quadruple last season which was very close to happening

I think we can see why a relatively ordinary Barcelona team were able to run away with la liga. Madrid are an old classic rolls Royce vs a Tesla here.

Modric did his hamstring 2 weeks ago ffs. No idea why he’s even on the pitch.

Classic Ancelloti, he always goes with veterans he trusts.
