He's been brave enough to make big decisions in his squad selections in the past, binning off older experienced players and taking a risk with young players that are performing well domestically.

People like to think he's overly defensive, but in the 2022 World Cup England scored the third most goals in the tournament behind France and Argentina (who both played two more games), and outscoring the Dutch, Brazil, Portugal, Germany and Spain.

I feel like every pass we’re sending to Saka is behind him tbf, absolutely honking levels of accuracy & intensity from England.

Shockingly it’s Gallagher nearest Saka giving him zero support (same with Walker).
