Fernandes second half has done well too. He was quiet in the first. Got an assist.

With new owners on the horizon, just getting results till we pick up and improve the way we actually play will do.

It’s not going to change overnight. Today, two of Jose’s one of oles and one of LVGs defenders started.

Neither (maybe shaw) should be starting for us if we realistically want to challenge for the league.

he needs coaching not to keep running into players, but either to pass quickly or to knock the ball on and run. he is making terrible decisions to run into people. he is not untalented, but our forwards don't look like they play together much.

Feel weird being relaxed for the last 5 or so minutes

Very good for win and good performance.

Great to have Shaw back…

Excellent result

Great debut for Mainoo - this might turn out to be a very important match / result for us

We were poor on the 1st half. Should have been 4-1 down. Thankfully Everton can’t finish

2nd half miles better. Getting more than one goal helps

Get Martinez back in, maybe Amad starts if rashford doesn’t improve.

Hopefully the penalty takes a weight off rashfords shoulders and we see an improvement.

Two points behind the greatest manager ever at Tottenham ?!

Three goals by three different forwards?

The season begins now.

Everybody - including most of our own fans - thought a fired up Everton were going to roll over us today. Wrong
