Big Ralf really was ahead of the curve. Ronaldo barely played in the 2nd half of the season anyway....

We might have gotten Cl football had we done that.

Instead we miss out on both Alvarez and Nunez while Ronaldo announces he wants to leave on the eve of pre season and is now on strike.

If he really is wanting out then it’s a bit of @#%&!s trick to wait until now to do it.

Obviously this will drag on for weeks and be a massive £#%&!ing distraction for Ten Hag and the team.

We’re a circus and run by clowns.

Yet people on here abusing Ralf for wanting to solve this issue in January. If Ronnie himself was trying to leave in January then its a no brainer to let him go. Then you can properly plan for the summer and get yourself an Alvarez or a Nunez.

Instead now you get a transfer request 2 days before pre season?

At least its a good thing that he is on strike, if it speeds up the move.

He did it after the first game of the season for Juve last summer so this is nothing new for him

Best for all concerned to get this sorted as soon as possible however the only issue is I think it's Chelsea who want to sign him and who he wants to go to
If it's a club on the continent then just let him go and accept a nominal fee for him like 5 million quid or something

The saving on wages we'd have budgeted for would be a huge because even if we signed a very good replacement for him, that player would only be on at most a quarter of what Ronaldo is currently on
The saving on wages can go towards the first instalment of the guaranteed fee on whoever we sign to replace him

Proper shithouse move and we should be £#%&!ing him off to who ever wants him. Chelsea? Who gives a £#%&! if that’s what he wants the @#%&!…

Still holding out hope he’s £#%&!ed off with the running of the club and is forcing them to make moves… I know

Never go back.

He should go play for the LA Soccer Guys and make five zillion bucks a second.

Right.

Enough time has gone by now that we need to start thinking about forging a new history rather than trying to cling to the old one. It’s gone.

It’s simply the price of being so shit. Can’t expect to have players like him doing us favours at 37. If we’d made top four, which never should have been a problem, this wouldn’t be an issue.

It’s shit and the timing is irritating (could have done this in May), but he was leaving next year anyway, and if he goes quickly, then it saves bullshit attention that comes with him.

Establishing a proper team spirit and getting ETH’s message across is absolutely paramount this season, so get it done quickly.

Munich are continuing to put out that they’re deffo no interested. PSG don’t seem bothered and probably don’t have the wages available without shifting Neymar, who absolutely nobody is interested in

Not an awful lot of options out there for him, other than Chelsea, I can’t see that happening though.
