Tricky one even if its Madrid. I think he'd tell them to £#%&! off, the kids a different breed. Not sure why I believe that, may be blind faith but I don't think he'll ever leave us.

word is that real are preparing a bid for fergie to replace pellegrini in the summer. apparently cathy's not happy with all the snow and phelan fears fergie's had his head turned.

I don;t know if any owner would do that for fear of backlash. Not sure why kind of backlash mind, but he'd be all over the press saying how he'd been £#%&!ed off.

I've no idea how true this is, but the 'Rooney to Madrid' link keeps popping up, doesn't it? One thing's for sure, if they really want him, he'll be gone. And I wouldn't even blame him - made to play left wing so Owen (£#%&!ing Owen ffs) can go upfront? What a £#%&!ing joke.

If people think a player like Rooney will stay while we flog our best (Vidic will definitely go this summer) and bring in shite like Owen, they're living in a £#%&!ing dream world.

If we sell Rooney, under any circumstances, we might as well pack in any idea of being a top football club.

Don't agree with people who think Rooney will never leave. At the end of the day, he's a footballer. An ambitious one. He left his boyhood team as soon as a big club came calling. If it ever came to the situation where a move made sense for his career, I don't think he'd hesitate to go. Certainly can't see him staying here surrounded by shit because of some sense of loyalty.
