I can't help caring a little bit about england, despite trent and gallagher and southgate and international football. but I really only care about united players doing well and not getting injured.

Don't know any English football supporters like the ones that chuck tables and sing about World Wars. Most are sensible normal people.

I like United lads being picked and like to see them do well.

Find it very odd. Was pleased when England scored but also pleased when Denmark scored.

I was always relatively behind England and wanted them to do well - 86 in particular. C

Kind of grew out of it and now I would like to see them get beaten (more so since Southgate has been in charge) but don't care too much if they win. Right now though it's hard to get behind such a negative set up and I instinctively cheered Denmark's goal but felt nothing when England scored.

Sums it up for me, Jeff. Especially when vs Germany/France. Like all the “home countries “ to do well but doesn’t come close to United. Despite family connections, can’t get into extreme “hey look,how Irish I am”
