Seriously ill in hospikle apparently.

Always thought he was alright - was very positive about united generally and Fergie most of the time - during our great period - a jock thing no doubt. The never win anything with kids thing was delightful.

He isn’t dead yet by all accounts but it sounds pending.

I’m sure there will be loads of warm tributes on here.

A fine player in his day - the back passing interchange between him and Grobbelar was legendary.

Hated him, always came across as snide and condescending.....

Type of guy who never buys a round or puts in for pool.....

Get well soon.

He’s got a bad dose of Scottish apparently. No cure as far as I’m aware.

Always thought he was a class above the professional scousers in the media. Considering Fergie dropped him from a World Cup squad or something he never seemed to hold a grudge
