This

Was right behind the corner of the goal the ball landed in. In amongst the Blades.

"at ot" (if we're allowing f.a. cup goals elsewhere, then whiteside in the final).

enjoyed rooney's debut hattrick.

Difficult one can think of twenty off the top of my head and all for different reasons. For the best in terms of what it meant at the time and the memories I’d say

Giggs v Middlesbrough semi
Pally v Blackburn
Cole v Spurs
Ole - scousers cup game

Best in terms of wtf

Hughes v Sheff Wed
Hughes v Forest
Ruud v Fulham

If I hadn’t seen such riches etc

It was the absolute vitriol in wazzas. Giving the referee pelters then BOOM

good memories of this one
was usually in the stretford end, but on this day had a perfect side view, still remember watching the flight of the ball as it dipped under the bar

I'm glad you posted that, I had a great view of it, quite low down in the South Stand not far from the dugout, it looked way better in the flesh than it does on video, a cracking but underrated and overlooked goal.

Cantona (96?) against Sunderland.

Was pissed off with P Nev being in midfield is my only other recollection of the game.

It's wasn't spectacular but Rooney's last minute match winning bullet header against City in a league cup semi final. I was right behind the cross and he met it perfectly. Simple but beautiful and a fantastic goon. God I miss that Scouse bastard.

That Boro one was an absolute humdinger. I was in South Stand and, seeing him shaping to shoot, shouted “not from there!”. Outrageous hit.
