Like chalk and cheese, the difference between then and now. A discernible style and pattern of play, a strategy and gameplay for each individual match and the thought that actually winning trophies is an important part of the job being just a few examples of why.

Martinez and Varane at CB were superb again. Imagine trying to hold off wave after wave of Arsenal attack with Wan Bissaka one side of you, Moonwalking Shaw the other and the pretend Scottish statue in front

To think this time last year we were being subjected to Slab and Lindelof every game

Could do with 2x CMs, a CF and a RB.

Next step is better ball retention, especially in games like this today.

We're the 3rd (2nd?) Best team in the country and anyone would have taken that 12, if not 6 months ago...

Look what he's done in 6 months. He's worked miracles. Got players looking like footballers again and us playing as a team. Still lots of dross to get rid of. Looking forward to next year when he gets more heads in that he wants.

It’s taken Arteta 3 seasons and about 400m to get them challenging. Look at the £#%&!ing state of the club when Ten Hag walked in 8 months ago. He’s doing an unbelievable job.

I can honestly see us putting together another impressive winning run.

There is literally no one left to play in the League that we shouldn’t beat.

Happy enough up to 2-2 tbf. Mistakes gave Arsenal their goals, tired players make mistakes, sadly.

The keeper is a charlatan, the midfield under-stocked and the forwards always hampered somehow.

It’s deffo looking up imo.

Yes, yes I know all that - but we still need to win something to make it feel the real deal.

Absolutely agree. At 2-2 the game was ours to win. Rashford to Centre Forward and Garnacho on. instead takes Anthony off brings Fred on which leaves our right flank wide open. Fenandes goes missing again as he often does in big games and Arteta in a @#%&!

At 2-2 we couldn’t get out of our half and Saka was having the left side to himself, Fred had to come in to stem that flow. Bringing Garnacho on would’ve just added another player we couldn’t get the ball to as the midfield was shite and the defenders £#%&!ed.

Sooner we get a keeper that can kick it with any sort of accuracy and organise the defence, the sooner we improve.

You’re right that Arteta is a @#%&! though, so there’s that.

Garnacho should have come on for Weghorst around 75 mins.

We needed an outlet who could carry the ball and who had pace.

Weghorst was offering nothing by that point as we were penned back and he doesn't have any pace to speak of.

Fred for Anthony was a correct decision.

Weghorst would’ve been in twice last 15 if The Scottish Player wasn’t so shit tbf.

He's done a fantastic job in a short space of time. Our lack of strength in depth is obviously still our weakness, but that ca be solved in the summer with new owners.

Rice, Kane and another will see us genuinely challenging next season.

Yep. Most of our problems can be attributed to him only being here six months. And the owners. Two or three big signings in the summer and we’ll be considerably better.

I think we’ll improve second half of the season. We’ll have our lapses, but I don’t expect another Brentford away, City away or even Villa away. I think we should be aiming for around 80 points. We’ve managed that once in ten years.
