Lukaku would be amazing if he could hold the ball up

That was a great half for us considering the first 15 minutes I thought they was going to destroy us.

"I suppose I've been slightly impressed by United"

Thanks, Jermaine.

Desperately need a couple of full backs as a priority. Both nowhere for their goal and £#%&! all going forward. Valencia with the ball near their corner flag ends up going b@ck to our cb position he’s so £#%&!ing predictably one footed. A child could learn rudimentary use of his weaker foot.

Not that it would have been lucky to score from the deflection.

Scouse tit.

Half of two halves that. Shocking attitude from ours out of the blocks but much better since we scored. Not been great at actual football and Spurs look more likely but we've given ourselves a fighting chance.

They're murdering us down our flanks.

It's no secret, if you're gonna beat spurs you have to compete with them in midfield and get about Dembele because he makes it all tick. Alexis showing the right attitude, don't stand off them, win the 50/50 tackles.

Would help if the ref wasn't letting them foul us with impunity as well

This game definitely won’t end 11 vs 11.

Utd are going to win this, pressure of the occasion will get to Spurs the closer it comes to the end, their history of failure will hit them. You see it in Dembele, normally so composed, has been making basic errors today.

They will Spurs, just have to make sure not to give them anything easy, and try to exploit Sanchez at the back for Spurs, he looks a mistake waiting to happen. Press Vorm as well.

Thanks for fleshing that out.

Imagine coming from Stoke, playing for a shite Liverpool side and it affecting your work 15 yrs later.

if spurs continue to defend on the half-way line, they will pay. lukaku should've giggsed it to himself, rather than carrying the ball.

on the other, if eriksen continues to wear his cloak of invisibilty, pogba will be shaking his head when spurs score again.

not dull, but shit.

Subs could make a difference too. Martial could be a match winner.

Just got to watch those wide areas and not doing anything stupid. And we are a bit stupid.

Referee will still want to have his 'moment'. I can easily see Valencia getting sent off or Herrera.

It's got all the hall marks of a contentious decision deciding this one

A abit if more composure from lukaku and Lingard and we should win about 4-1.

lingards movement is good but against spurs we need quality on the ball like martial or even rashford. Players who are looking to score and ruthless at that.
