Hope he stays. Talented player

One promising first season and sporadic decent moments spread out over the other two years is not enough to earn the hero worshipping he gets though.

Absolutely nobody worships him mate.

A few people enjoy watching him play, think he has the potential to be very good/great and would like to see that unfold here instead of him being replaced by any number of dull, functional 29 year old midfielders.

If I was him I would be happy to keep options open. He's been £#%&!ed about since mourinho came in. And there's a real chance whoever comes in next will have problems too

Innit. I honestly can’t remember anything he’s done since that goal at Wembley against Everton. What games has he won for us? What outstanding performances have there been? What evidence is there that he’s a world-class player being held back by Mourinho the big meanie?
