What minute do we think he'll hobble off?

Any manager in the history of the game would have him nowhere near and just play him in the final.

Narrator: Ten hag didn't and he missed the cup final.

Yes , a player that hasn’t played in months. Hasn’t played all season, let’s not give him any opportunity to get some match mins and sharpness. Throw him into the cup final against city

He’ll be rusty as £#%&! if we do that though. He was all over the place at first when he came back earlier in the season. 2 little 20 minute cameos in the last two games.

If he's fit to play tomorrow, he'll be fit to play in two weeks time. They do this amazing thing called training. Or put him in against two teams that will be desperate to beat us? I know what I'd do.

Yup.

He needs minutes before the final and game intensity can’t be replicated during training.

Common sense.

In an ideal world of course. I just don't see the risk of two games that we're going to get pushed hard for no reward whatsoever. Put it this way, if he wasn't fit right up to the final he'd still play.
